Bird Bolt Law acknowledges the land on which we operate and serve our community. We are situated on the unceded traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Mississaugas, whose presence here reaches back to time immemorial. We recognize the enduring presence and deep traditional knowledge of the Indigenous peoples of this land.

We are committed to honouring their contributions and acknowledging their pain and resilience in the face of past and ongoing injustices and colonial violence. In doing so, we affirm our responsibility to foster relationships that respect Indigenous knowledge, cultures, and traditions, and to support the ongoing work of reconciliation.

Let this acknowledgment serve as a step towards understanding and honouring the original caretakers of this land, a commitment to learn, and a reminder of our ongoing responsibility to engage in meaningful actions that support Indigenous communities and their rights.
