BIANCA ZIMPERI

SHE/HER

EQUITY & JUSTICE LAWYER

Equity-Focused Advocacy:
I am an Equity and Justice Lawyer at Bird Bolt Law, where I bring a trauma-informed and empathetic approach to my practice, grounded in a genuine curiosity about the people I represent. I want to understand not only the legal issues that my clients face, but the person experiencing them, which includes their circumstances, priorities and learning what matters most to them. I firmly believe that the strongest advocacy begins with listening. By meeting my clients where they are, I can tailor my advocacy to where they want to go.

In the Courtroom and on the Page:
I am a fierce advocate for my clients, both in the courtroom and on the page. I am drawn to novel and complex legal issues, particularly where there is an opportunity to advance arguments that can meaningfully shape the outcome of my client's case, and the law.  My litigation experience includes regular appearances before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and administrative Tribunals. Whether through written or oral advocacy, I value the opportunity to transform complex facts and legal issues into a compelling and persuasive argument on behalf of my clients.

Always Learning:
"Love your learning, make much of time" is a line from Shakespeare that has been my personal mantra since I attended Sussex Law School in Brighton, England. After being called to the Ontario Bar in 2022, I carried that sentiment with me into my practice. At my core, I am endlessly curious and believe there is always more to learn, whether that be from the law, the people around me and from my clients I have the privilege of representing. I am always looking for opportunities to learn, contribute and grow.

Outside of my legal practice, I proudly serve on the Board of Directors of Lupus Canada. I have also completed training in life and wellness coaching with a particular focus on grief and how we can better support the grievers in our lives.

When I am not practicing law, you can find me spending time with my family and friends, listening to my (growing) record collection, reading a new book, or planning my next trip.
